Grants

A proportion of the funds raised by Medstead Fete are available for village organisations and local good causes.

Written applications for funding are accepted ahead of the AGM each year.

Guidelines for allocation of funds:

1. All applications must be received IN WRITING by the publicised deadline.
2. A full explanation of how the funds will be spent should be given.
3. No applications will be considered after the AGM has taken place
4. No verbal applications will be considered at any time.
5. Applications for funds for the direct benefit of the village/villagers (ie Medstead charities/groups etc), will take priority over larger/national charities.
6. Applications to benefit individuals will not normally be considered, unless the individual is a resident of Medstead village, or in exceptional circumstances.
7. Should the funds not be spent as intended, then the Medstead Fete Committee reserve the right to request reimbursement of said funds.
8. The details of successful grant applications will be shared via a variety of media channels with the intent of promoting the Fete and its fundraising efforts. By submitting an application, any individual/group/society/charity agrees to this arrangement.
